Appointments with me take place at a nature reserve near St Neots. During these walk and talk appointments we'll walk around the reserve. There are also benches to sit on. You'll have the benefits of being outside and some people find it easier to talk about difficulties using these walk and talk appointments. I also offer telephone appointments.
My service is supportive and compassionate, and I provide therapy which is suited to your individual needs. There are different types of psychological therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT and counselling. Sometimes I also incorporate mindfulness techniques. I'll explain how these therapies work and ask about your preferences. This will help us decide whether CBT or counselling is best suited to you and the difficulty you are currently having.
Appointments are 50 minutes and usually weekly or fortnightly. These are available early morning, daytime and evenings. I provide individual and couples therapy to people aged 18 and over.
I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation. After this, each appointment costs £100.
In order to help people access therapy, I reserve some time each week to provide my service at a lower cost. This means I can take on a limited number of people who would otherwise find it difficult to see a psychologist privately. You can contact me to ask about my current availability for this.
